Just about two miles south of the main Skookum Pass repeater is the Tac (tactical) repeater. This is a stand-alone machine used in support of activities, such as races, etc., that should not interfere or tie up the main SPARC system.

Equipment is the 'old' Maggiore repeater and controller, with batteries, solar panels and antenna in a housing.

This repeater has exhibited incredible sensitivity and power, and is very usable.
